My Opinion:

Yes, Love can easily happen many a times.

If someone is seeing Colosseum in Rome and a month later, Eiffel tower in Paris then he/she would like either of them for various reasons., like, 

1) the latest architecture which he/ she had seen or 

2) he/ she compares both of them and choose the best of their choice or 

3) even both of them, for varied reasons and so on..,

The same happens in Love too 

1) If someone had a break up, few kind of people tend to resist with the old memories and live in the Past and while away the Present moments.

2) Many finds a new partner or the so called second love and lead a happy life too.,
  

as known Universally - " In the end, What ever happens - Life has to move on... "
